It’s been a few weeks since I was bailed out of the County Shelter, and I have to say, life just keeps getting better and better. One of my favorite days since my rescue was when my family took me to Winema Beach in Oregon. I had never seen a beach before, and let me tell you, it was a grand adventure!
My rents brought the grandchildren along, and they were so excited to see me. I got lots of hugs and pats on the head, and I could tell they were happy to have me with them. We started off by playing ball and chasing sticks on the sand. I had never experienced anything quite like it, and I loved every minute of it.
But as much as I enjoyed playing with the kids, my favorite part of the day was the walk with my Pops. He took me off the leash and let me run free, which was a new experience for me. We walked along the beach and climbed on rocks, and I could feel the wind in my fur and the sun on my back. It was pure bliss.
I can’t tell you how grateful I am to my family for rescuing me and giving me a second chance at life. I never thought I’d get to experience something as amazing as a day at the beach, and yet here I am. And the best part is that I know there will be many more adventures to come.
I may be a rescue dog, but I am also a GoodBoy. I love my family, and I am so happy that they love me back. They have given me a new lease on life, and I plan to make the most of every moment. Whether we’re at the beach or just snuggled up on the couch, I know that I am loved and that is all that matters.
So, if you’re ever feeling down or like there’s no hope, just remember my story. I was once a dog in a shelter, unsure of my fate. But now, I am Zeus GoodBoy, adventurer extraordinaire. Anything is possible, as long as you have love in your heart and a family to share it with.
